For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.00 inches will depart the region as
it moves east tonight. A warm front will then lift north across the
region from late tonight into Thursday as low pressure organizes to
the west. This low will eventually track from Lake Michigan to Lake
Huron on Thursday night with a cold front sinking south into the
Ohio Valley on Friday as the low moves northeast towards Quebec.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to
10 to 15 knots early in the morning. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots early in the morning
increasing to 15 to 20 knots...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
early in the afternoon becoming light and variable. Showers
likely and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet building
to 4 to 6 feet in the late morning and afternoon. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the north
in the late evening and overnight. A chance of thunderstorms
until early morning. Rain showers likely. Locally heavy rainfall
possible early in the morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to
1 to 3 feet in the late evening and overnight.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the west in
the late morning and afternoon. Showers likely early in the
morning. A chance of showers in the late morning and early
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible early in the morning.
