For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Area of low pressure at 29.40 inches briefly stalled
over southern Quebec will pull yet another cold front down
through the region today. This will keep the unsettled conditions
going through the rest of the day. High pressure at 30.00 inches
then builds across the region tonight and into Tuesday before a
mid week clipper moves in Tuesday night.

.REST OF TODAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to
10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon...then increasing to 15 to
20 knots late in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
west 5 to 10 knots early in the morning. Snow showers likely
after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet early
in the morning.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Snow showers likely in
the morning...then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon.
Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. A chance of snow showers.
Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6 feet in the late evening and
overnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots increasing to 35 knot
gales late in the morning...then decreasing to 30 knots late in
the afternoon decreasing to 20 to 25 knots late in the evening.
Gusts to 40 knot gales decreasing to 30 knots late in the
evening. A chance of snow showers. Freezing spray. Waves 10 to
14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet. A gale warning may be
needed.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to
10 knots until early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet until early morning.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the east early
in the evening...then becoming west 10 to 15 knots in the late
evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

the evening veering to the east in the late evening and early
morning. Freezing spray early in the morning. A chance of. Waves
