For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure, 30.00 inches, will settle
slowly south of the area today as the next clipper system develops
to the northwest. This clipper low of 29.80 inches will organize
north of Lake Huron late Thursday night into Friday and then deepen
as it tracks towards upstate New York Friday night. In its wake,
another ridge of high pressure will build east into the region.

showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots early in the morning. A chance of snow showers until
early morning...then snow showers likely early in the morning.
Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then becoming
west 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. Snow showers. Waves
1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to
10 to 15 knots after midnight. A chance of snow showers until
early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.SATURDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming southeast 5 to 10 knots late
in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then
decreasing to 5 to 10 knots early in the evening veering to the
southwest in the late evening and early morning. A chance of
freezing rain in the afternoon and evening. A chance of snow
showers in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to
4 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the late
evening and early morning.

Snow showers. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots becoming northwest
15 to 20 knots after midnight. Gusts to 30 knots. Snow showers
likely until early morning...then a chance of snow showers early
in the morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots late in the morning...then veering to the southeast late
in the evening. A chance of snow showers early in the morning.

in the late evening and early morning. A chance of snow showers
and showers in the evening. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to
5 feet.

20 knots in the late evening and early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late morning and early
afternoon...then building to 2 to 4 feet early in the evening
