For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure...30.00 inches...will maintain
a grip on the region as the center of surface high pressure becomes
increasingly centered over the eastern United States. A weak cold
front will settle into the northern Great Lakes today before
stalling out. The next low pressure system, 29.10 inches, will
rapidly advance out of the Canadian Prairie provinces this evening,
before tracking directly across portions of Ontario on Friday. A
cold front will push across the region early Saturday, with a brief
surface ridge building into the state early Sunday.

.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots late in the evening...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots
after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet after
midnight.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers.
Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
Showers likely until early morning...then a chance of showers
early in the morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally
around 12 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots late in the evening. Waves 5 to
7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
early in the evening...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south 10 to
15 knots until early morning. A chance of showers after midnight.
Waves 2 feet or less building to 2 to 4 feet until early morning.

15 knots late in the evening...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots
after midnight increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
30 knots early in the morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots increasing to 30 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 40 knot gales. A
chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves 8 to 12 feet building
to 12 to 16 feet early in the afternoon. Waves occasionally
around 20 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South winds to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales becoming southwest 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in
the late evening and overnight. Showers likely until early
