For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front near the north shore of Lake Huron
will settle
southward tonight and merge with low pres strengthening over Iowa
during Monday, 29.40 inches. Easterly gales are expected over the
north half of Lake Huron Monday afternoon and evening as this system
approaches. Wind will diminish Monday night as the low moves through
central portions of the the lake. Moderate northwest wind will trail
the system Tuesday followed by weak high pressure Wednesday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming east 15 to
20 knots. Areas of fog. Waves 2 feet or less building to 2 to
4 feet early in the morning.
.MONDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 30 knots with
gusts to 35 knot gales. Snow showers. Showers late in the
afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times in the afternoon. Waves
5 to 7 feet building to 8 to 12 feet in the afternoon. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot
gales becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots. Rain and snow showers
until early morning...then a chance of rain and snow showers
early in the morning. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.TUESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
Showers likely early in the morning. A chance of snow showers
until late afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally
around 8 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots becoming north 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and
overnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots late in the morning...then becoming light and variable
late in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming southeast 5 to
10 knots until early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots until early evening...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the late evening and early morning. A chance of showers until

.MONDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 30 knots. Gusts
to 35 knot gales. Rain and snow showers. Snow may be heavy at
times late in the afternoon. Waves 8 to 12 feet building to 10 to
14 feet late in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and
overnight. Showers. Snow showers likely early in the morning.

late in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally

15 to 20 knots in the late evening and overnight. Gusts to
35 knot gales. A chance of snow showers early in the evening.

variable. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in the

.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then

evening becoming south 15 to 20 knots in the late evening and
early morning. A chance of rain and snow showers until early
