Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
344 AM EDT Wed Jul 26 2017

For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.20 inches will settle along the
eastern seaboard today as low pressure of 29.40 inches shifts east
along the southern shore of Hudson Bay and through James Bay this
evening. This low will force a cold front south through the region
Wednesday night into Thursday. This front will stall briefly over
the southern Great Lakes as a second weaker low pressure tracks out
of the middle Mississippi Valley. Once this low passes southeast of
the area Friday, the cold front will continue south as high pressure
begins building in from the northwest.
