Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
350 PM EST Wed Nov 22 2017

For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure averaging 30.30 inches will continue to
build across the Ohio Valley, diminishing cloud cover tonight late
Wednesday into early Thursday. Pressure will gradually diminish
across the Great Lakes down to 30.00 inches Thursday afternoon into
Friday morning as a strong low pressure system pushes east across
the Canadian Provinces, from Alberta to Ontario. The center of the
low will reside over the Ontario/Quebec border by Friday night,
which will further reduce pressure over the Great Lakes down to an
average of 29.60 inches. Wind speeds exceeding 20 knots across the
lakes and bays will be likely Friday into Saturday as this low
pressure system approaches.
