For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A large and deep low pressure system will move slowly
across northern Ontario today while weakening from 28.70 inches. The
system will continue to produce westerly gales before subsiding to
30 knots or less by late afternoon. A front will then move through
the region overnight through Thursday with just light to moderate
wind through Friday. A stronger low pressure system is then due to
move through the central Great Lakes during the weekend.
