For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front will stall over northern Lake Huron
tonight and turn into a warm front Sunday as the next low pressure
system approaches from the Plains states. Easterly gales will be
possible over the north half of Lake Huron as this system approaches
Monday and Monday night. The low is then expected to move through
central Lake Huron at 29.30 inches Monday night and Tuesday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Light and variable winds. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots in
the afternoon. Areas of fog. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20
knots. Areas of fog. A chance of showers after midnight. A chance of
snow showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6
feet after midnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots. Gusts to 35 knot gales in the
late morning and afternoon. Areas of fog early in the morning.
Freezing spray in the late morning and early afternoon.
Snow showers likely in the morning. Snow showers in the afternoon. A
chance of showers and freezing rain late in the afternoon. Snow may
be heavy at times in the afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the
late evening and overnight. Snow showers in the evening. Showers and
freezing rain. A chance of snow showers after midnight. Waves 8 to
12 feet subsiding to 5 to 7 feet after midnight. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.TUESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots backing
to the northwest with gusts to 30 knots late in the afternoon...then
decreasing to 10 to 15 knots late in the evening. A chance of
freezing rain and showers likely in the morning. Snow showers...then
a chance of snow showers late in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming light and variable.
Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
until early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.

in the evening. Showers likely...a chance of snow showers and
freezing rain in the morning...then snow showers likely late in the
morning. A chance of snow showers late in the afternoon. Waves 3 to
5 feet building to 6 to 9 feet late in the afternoon. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 5 to 7 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet until early morning. Waves occasionally
around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming west 5 to 10 knots in
the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the southwest
early in the evening becoming south 10 to 15 knots in the late
evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
