For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure averaging 30.10 inches will get
pushed eastward today by an approaching frontal boundary which will
settle across the central Great Lakes this afternoon. A low pressure
system organizing over the Central Plains on Friday will then lift
northeast along the frontal boundary this weekend while deepening to
around 29.40 inches by the time it reaches the straits Sunday
morning.

EVENING...

.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers until
early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers.
Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
southeast 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Showers. Waves 2 to
4 feet building to 5 to 7 feet in the late evening and overnight.
Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales in the late morning and
early afternoon...then becoming northwest to 30 knots with gusts
to 45 knot gales early in the afternoon. Showers until late
afternoon...then a chance of showers late in the afternoon. Waves
4 to 6 feet building to 8 to 12 feet early in the afternoon.
Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers
early in the evening. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet
after midnight. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.MONDAY...Light and variable winds becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots late in the morning...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots
late in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less building to 2 to
4 feet late in the evening.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late
evening and early morning.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet
building to 3 to 5 feet until early morning.

10 to 15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Showers. Waves
1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet late in the afternoon.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to
20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late evening and
overnight. Showers. Waves 4 to 6 feet building to 8 to 12 feet

gales with storm force gusts to 50 knots early in the afternoon.

the afternoon. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around
18 feet. A gale warning may be needed.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots with gusts to 45 knot
gales decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers early in
the evening. Waves 12 to 16 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 20 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots late in the evening. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet late in the morning...then building to 3 to 5 feet late in
the evening. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 6 to 9 feet. Waves
