For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure...30.00 inches...over Michigan will
gradually slide to the east today maintaining a mainly southwesterly
flow which will increase Tuesday ahead of a strong cold front. This
front will sweep through the Great Lake Tuesday afternoon followed
by an increasingly strong northwest flow that will last through the
end of the week.

south early in the afternoon...then becoming light and variable

.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots until late afternoon
becoming light and variable. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Light and variable winds. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the evening...then showers and thunderstorms
likely after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the west late in
the morning...then becoming northwest 15 to 20 knots with gusts
to 30 knots late in the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms
likely until late afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to
6 feet late in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots early in the morning
becoming light and variable...then becoming northwest 5 to
10 knots until early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.

south in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers and

.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots with gusts to 30 knots late in the afternoon...then
becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots late in
the evening. Showers with thunderstorms likely until late
afternoon...then a chance of showers and thunderstorms early in
the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
