For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front stalled across northern Lake Huron. The next low
pressure system approaching from the Plains states will track
through the area Monday night and Tuesday averaging 29.40 inches.
Easterly gales will be possible over the north half of Lake Huron as
this system approaches Monday and Monday night.

EVENING...

.TODAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots in
the afternoon. Areas of fog in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots.
Areas of fog. Waves 2 feet or less building to 3 to 5 feet after
midnight.
.MONDAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots. Gusts to 35 knot gales in
the late morning and afternoon. Areas of fog early in the
morning. Snow showers. Showers and a chance of freezing rain late
in the afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times in the afternoon.
Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot
gales becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots. Freezing rain and a
chance of snow showers until early morning. Showers. A chance of
freezing rain early in the morning. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding
to 5 to 7 feet after midnight. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.TUESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots. A
chance of freezing rain early in the morning. Snow showers with
showers likely until late afternoon...then a chance of snow
showers and showers early in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
