For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure near the Straits during the morning at
29.50 inches will move toward James Bay and deepen to 29.20 inches
by this evening. The strong cold front associated with this system
will move through northern Lake Huron by late morning and then reach
western Lake Erie toward evening. Northwest gales are likely by late
afternoon through tonight over the north half of Lake Huron,
diminishing but remaining moderate through Wednesday. High pressure
averaging 30.20 inches will then build into the region Thursday
through Friday.

then veering to the northwest with gusts to 35 knot gales late in
the afternoon. Numerous showers and a chance of thunderstorms
late in the morning. Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around
8 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots
early in the morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Waves 6 to 9 feet.
Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
30 knots. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waves 4 to
6 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots early in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots in the late
evening and early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots until afternoon
becoming light and variable. Waves 2 feet or less.
