For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.70 inches, draws a cold front through
the Great Lakes today triggering showers across northern Lake
Huron with more isolated coverage of showers and thunderstorms
south of Saginaw Bay. High pressure returns mid-week ahead of a
strong low pressure system, 29.10 inches, that brings widespread
rain and elevated winds to the Great Lakes Thursday and Friday.

.TODAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 10 to
15 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots
early in the afternoon veering to the southeast late in the
afternoon. A chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots
after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast 10 to
15 knots. Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots until early morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Showers
likely early in the morning...then a chance of showers until
early morning. Waves 5 to 7 feet building to 6 to 9 feet until
early morning. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. Waves 4 to 6 feet.

5 to 10 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of
showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

20 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
late in the evening. Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 5 to
7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.FRIDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots
becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales
until early morning. Showers likely...then a chance of showers in
the late evening and early morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet building to
10 to 14 feet until early morning. Waves occasionally around
18 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 4 to
6 feet in the late evening and early morning. Waves occasionally
