For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Mild air will continue to build over the Great Lakes
through Thursday on moderate south wind. The next cold front will
enter the area Thursday night following low pressure tracking
through Upper Michigan at 29.60 inches. There is potential for north
gales from Thursday night through Saturday both behind the front and
as a strong low pressure system, 29.40 inches, moves through the
Ohio valley Friday and to the Atlantic coast Saturday.

a chance of drizzle. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the afternoon. A chance of drizzle early in the morning.
Widespread dense fog. Rain. Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally
around 8 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late evening and early
morning...then becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales after midnight. Widespread dense fog early in the
evening. Freezing spray early in the morning. Rain until early
morning. A chance of freezing rain late in the evening. A chance
of snow after midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally
around 12 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Gusts to 35 knot gales
until late afternoon. A chance of snow early in the morning.
Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.

15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 5 to
10 knots late in the evening. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet late in the afternoon.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
early in the evening...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast 5 to
10 knots early in the evening...then veering to the south in the
late evening and early morning. A chance of snow showers. Waves
2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet until early morning.
