For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Mild air will continue through the evening as moderate
south wind persists over all marine areas. An arctic cold front will
then sweep across the Great Lakes late tonight following low
pressure tracking through Upper Michigan at 29.60 inches. North
gales are expected behind the front from after midnight through
Friday night. Arctic high pressure will build over the region
Saturday and last through Sunday.

FRIDAY MORNING...

.TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots with gusts to 30 knots late in the evening...then
becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
after midnight. Rain in the evening. Snow in the late evening and
early morning...then a chance of rain early in the morning. Waves
5 to 7 feet building to 8 to 12 feet early in the morning. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot
gales. A chance of rain early in the morning. Freezing spray in
the morning. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots becoming north 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and
overnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet early in the afternoon.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to
5 to 10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then
becoming light and variable after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
late in the morning...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots late in
the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less building to 3 to 5 feet late
in the evening.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots backing to the east in
the late evening and early morning. A chance of snow showers in
the morning. Snow showers likely in the afternoon...then a chance
of snow showers until early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning. A chance of snow
showers early in the morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to
