For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will sag slowly through the area today as
low pressure
lifts into Quebec. This front will stall over the Ohio Valley this
evening as a second low near 29.80 inches moves in from the midwest.
Once this low digs southeast on Friday, the cold front will continue
south and a large high pressure system, averaging 30.20 inches, will
build into the central Great Lakes and remain in place through the
upcoming weekend.

.TODAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the north in
the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the west
late in the afternoon. Areas of fog in the morning. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the
northeast early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots until late afternoon
becoming light and variable. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet early in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming north 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots late in the
afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots early in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots until early
morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots early in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots until early
