FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A COLD FRONT EXTENDS FROM LOW PRESSURE OF 29.7 INCHES
NEAR JAMES BAY...ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES INTO THE NORTHERN
PLAINS. THE FRONT WILL SLOWLY SAG SOUTH...BUT BECOME NEARLY
STATIONARY ACROSS NORTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN OVERNIGHT. ANOTHER AREA OF
LOW PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES WILL LIFT NORTHEAST ALONG THE COLD
FRONT MONDAY...DEEPENING TO 29.5 INCHES OVER EASTERN GREAT LAKES
MONDAY NIGHT WHILE DRAGGING THE COLD FRONT DOWN THE LENGTH OF LAKE
MICHIGAN. THE LOW WILL CONTINUE TO DEEPEN AS IT MOVES TO NORTHERN
NEW ENGLAND TUESDAY...WHILE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING OF 30.1 INCHES
BUILDS ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND EVENTUALLY INTO THE WESTERN
LAKES TUESDAY NIGHT. ANOTHER LOW AROUND 29.3 INCHES IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE EASTWARD FROM THE PLAINS ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND UPPER
GREAT LAKES REGION LATER THIS WEEK.
