OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure of 29.9 inches will spread across
the mid-Mississippi Valley to the southern Great lakes this
afternoon, then will expand across the Ohio Valley and mid-
Atlantic region Sunday while strengthening to 30.1 inches. A low
pressure trough and an associated cold front averaging 29.9
inches will slowly sag south over the northern part of the lake
late Monday night into Tuesday. As low pressure of 29.6 inches
develops across the eastern lakes Tuesday afternoon, the cold
front will accelerate down the lake. High pressure of 30.2 inches
will then build over the lake later next week.
