FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.5 INCHES
EXTENDING FROM WESTERN NEBRASKA NORTHWEST INTO SOUTHERN MONTANA
WILL MOVE SLOWLY EAST TODAY...THEN DEEPEN AND CONSOLIDATE INTO A
29.4 INCH LOW OVER EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA BY MIDDAY SUNDAY. THE LOW
WILL THEN MOVE NORTHEAST TO LAKE SUPERIOR BY MONDAY AFTERNOON
WEAKENING SLIGHTLY TO 29.6 INCHES. THE LOW WILL THEN MOVE
NORTHEAST INTO QUEBEC TUESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.5 INCHES
SPREADS SOUTH INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS. RIDGING FROM THIS HIGH
WILL EXPAND EAST INTO THE GREAT LAKES AND THE HIGH WILL REMAIN IN
THE REGION THROUGH THE END OF NEXT WEEK WHILE SLOWLY WEAKENING.
