WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A 28.9 INCH LOW OVER NORTHERN QUEBEC WILL CONTINUE TO
LIFT NORTH TODAY. MEANWHILE A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING
29.6 INCHES AND ITS FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTEND FROM THE LOW THROUGH
THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES SHIFTS TO THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES AND
SOUTHERN QUEBEC AS WELL TODAY. A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AVERAGING
30.2 INCHES OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL BUILD SOUTHEAST ACROSS
THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...AND THEN INTO THE TENNESSEE AND OHIO
VALLEYS TONIGHT. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES WILL THEN QUICKLY
DROP SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE PLAINS TONIGHT AND THEN WEAKEN TO 29.9
INCHES AS IT REACHES THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY WEDNESDAY
MORNING. THIS LOW WILL CONTINUE TO WEAKEN AS IT MOVES TO THE OHIO
VALLEY WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.6 INCHES BUILDS
SOUTH OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS. THIS HIGH WILL BUILD SOUTHEAST
ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THURSDAY AND
THEN SOUTHEAST TO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY THURSDAY NIGHT...BEFORE
MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST ATLANTIC COAST FRIDAY.
