FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure at 29.4 inches over northern Quebec will
continue to move off to the east this afternoon with a weak trough
averaging 29.9 inches moving south of the lake this evening.
Meanwhile, a large area of high pressure area averaging 30.0
inches over the upper Mississippi Valley will spread east over the
western Great Lakes tonight. As this high pushes east of Lake
Michigan on Wednesday, a 29.4 inch low will move from
Saskatchewan to Quebec by Friday afternoon. An associated cold
front will sweep across the lake Thursday night and a secondary
surge of colder air will push across the lake Friday night.
