National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
919 PM CDT Thu Mar 14 2024

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Breezy northeasterly winds will shift to northerly as low
pressure of 29.7 inches moves just south of the southern tip of
Lake Michigan into northern central Indiana tonight. A few gale
force gusts over the southern end of Lake Michigan can`t be ruled
out until 1AM CDT. Winds will then slowly diminish through
Friday.

Friday night, southwesterly winds will increase ahead of a
developing low pressure around 29.5 inches in central Canada. This
low will deepen to 29.3 inches as it crosses southern Ontario on
Saturday, with breezy southwest winds shifting to northwesterly as
the associated cold front pushes southward across the lake. Gusts
approaching 30 knots are expected Saturday through Monday as
northwesterly winds continue.
