WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.5 INCHES IS CENTERED OVER
SASKATCHEWAN WITH A RIDGE AXIS AVERAGING 30.2 INCHES EXTENDING
SOUTH TO THE CENTRAL GULF COAST. THE CENTER OF THE HIGH WILL
SETTLE ACROSS THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI AND OHIO VALLEY BY THURSDAY
EVENING. MEANWHILE...WEAK LOW PRESSURE OF 29.9 INCHES WILL FORM
OVER THE NORTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION THURSDAY NIGHT AND MOVE
THROUGH NEW ENGLAND FRIDAY NIGHT DRAGGING A TRAILING COLD FRONT
ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN ON FRIDAY. AN AREA OF ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE
OF 30.9 INCHES WILL BUILD OUT OF THE CANADIAN PRAIRIES FRIDAY
AND SPREAD ACROSS THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY FRIDAY NIGHT. THE
HIGH WILL THEN SPREAD ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES REGION SATURDAY NIGHT
AND SUNDAY.
