FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.5 inches southeastern Ontario will
move across southern Quebec today as a ridge of high pressure
averaging 30.3 inches spread across the Upper Mississippi Valley.
The ridge will cross the lake this evening and move to the eastern
Great Lakes overnight. A trough of low pressure averaging 29.9
inches will move across the plains tonight and a seaconary area of
low pressure of 29.4 inches is expected to develop over the
Central Plains Friday night. This low should deepen to 29.2 inches
and track across southern Lake Michigan Saturday morning. This low
will then deepen to 28.7 inches as it tracks across southern
Quebec Saturday night and high pressure of 30.4 inches builds
across the plains.

chance of rain this morning. Waves 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18
ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east 10 to 15 kt
late in the evening...then becoming southeast 10 to 20 kt after
midnight becoming south to 30 kt late. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY...South gales to 35 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt. Rain
likely in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
building to 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South gales to 35 kt becoming west 10 to 20 kt
overnight. Rain showers. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft
subsiding to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.SATURDAY...North gales to 35 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt.
Rain in the morning...then rain likely in the afternoon. Waves
4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft building to 6 to 9 ft occasionally
to 12 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to gales
to 35 kt. Chance of snow and rain showers. Waves 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Chance of snow showers. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 35 kt.
