FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Brisk northwest winds continue this morning as a 29.3 inch low
pressure moves across Quebec, and high pressure of 30.4 inches
builds through the Great Plains. Northwest winds will shift out
of the west this evening, becoming breezy and southwesterly late
tonight into Tuesday morning as low pressure around 29.5 inches
moves from Alberta toward Lake Superior. A few gale force gusts
are possible over the southern half of the lake Tuesday morning.
Winds will turn back out of the northwest behind a cold front
Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. Gales are possible over the
far northern portion of the lake on Wednesday.

Slight chance of snow showers in the evening, then chance of snow
showers overnight. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt becoming northwest 15 to
25 kt. Chance of snow showers in the morning. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to
8 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt.
Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest gales to 40 kt. Freezing spray. Chance of
snow. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 15 to
25 kt. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 4 to
6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west. Waves 1 to

midnight, then becoming southwest late. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft building to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt becoming west late in the
morning, then becoming west to 30 kt early in the afternoon
becoming northwest 15 to 25 kt late. Waves 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft building to 8 to 11 ft occasionally to
14 ft, then subsiding to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 kt
overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 5 to
8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Waves 8 to 12 ft
