FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 30.0 INCHES OVER THE UPPER PENINSULA
OF MICHIGAN LATE THIS AFTERNOON WILL MOVE TO LAKE ERIE BY EARLY
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND DEEPEN TO 29.8 INCHES AS IT DOES SO. THIS
WILL DRIVE A POWERFUL COLD FRONT DOWN LAKE MICHIGAN LATE TONIGHT
BRINGING NORTHERLY STORM FORCE WINDS FOR A LARGE PORTION OF THE
LAKE. THE LOW PRESSURE WILL MERGE WITH ANOTHER LOW NEAR THE
ATLANTIC SEABOARD AND FURTHER DEEPEN TO 29.4 INCHES ON FRIDAY
NIGHT...BEFORE BEGINNING TO MOVE NORTHEAST DURING SATURDAY.
MEANWHILE...CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.7 INCHES OVER THE UPPER
MIDWEST ON FRIDAY WILL MOVE OVER LAKE MICHIGAN BY SATURDAY NIGHT
AND WEAKEN TO 30.4 INCHES. EARLY NEXT WEEK...LOW PRESSURE AROUND
29.6 INCHES IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS AND MOVE
INTO QUEBEC BRINGING SOUTHWEST WINDS ACROSS THE LAKE.
