WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.5 INCH HIGH IS OVER THE GULF STATES WHILE A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.7 INCHES STRETCHES FROM HUDSON
BAY THROUGH MISSOURI. THE HIGH WILL REMAIN OVER THE SOUTHEAST US
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING BEFORE MERGING WITH THE NEXT HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM. THE TROUGH WILL SLIDE OVER THE LAKE AROUND MID
DAY AND THEN DEEPEN TO 29.2 INCHES AS IT CONTINUES TO NEWFOUNDLAND
FRIDAY. HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.3 INCHES BUILDS OVER THE PLAINS THIS
AFTERNOON...PASSES JUST SOUTH OF THE LAKE LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY...AND THEN MOVES OUT OVER THE ATLANTIC SATURDAY NIGHT. A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AVERAGING 29.4 INCHES MOVES OVER THE PLAINS
SATURDAY NIGHT AND MOVES OVER THE LAKE SUNDAY NIGHT AT AROUND 29.2
