FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.1 inches over northern Manitoba
will move east across Hudson Bay Tuesday morning with a cold front
trailing well south from the low moving across Lake Michigan by
midday Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure averaging 30.3 inches
over the Northern Plains Tuesday morning will move east and be
centered over the Great Lakes by Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile,
Wednesday afternoon, new low pressure of 29.5 inches will develop
over the central High Plains. This low will track east-northeast
to northern Illinois by Friday morning, then deepen to 29.3 inches
as it moves more slowly northeast to southern Quebec by Saturday
morning.

morning. Waves 1 to 2 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9
ft.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to
35 kt...then becoming west gales to 35 kt late. Scattered rain
showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft building to 8 to 11
ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.TUESDAY...West gales to 35 kt. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to
13 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt.
Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming north 10 to
20 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 1 to
3 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 5 to 10 kt veering to
southeast 10 to 20 kt overnight. Waves 1 to 2 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east. Rain
likely with a chance of snow. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
