FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.4 inches will over the Ohio
Valley early this morning, will move to the mid-Atlantic coast by
this evening. Weaker ridging extending north into the western
Great Lakes region will shift east as well, as low pressure of
29.6 inches moves from the High Plains to the northern Lakes by
evening. This low will trail a cold front across central Lake
Michigan by early Monday, and will become the focus for a series
of weaker low pressure waves ripple along it through Tuesday
before it drifts off to the southeast Tuesday night. Strong high
pressure of 30.7 inches will build in behind the front Wednesday,
with weaker ridging lingering across the western Lakes Thursday.

this morning...then increasing to gales to 40 kt early this
afternoon. Chance of snow this afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft building
to 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.
.TONIGHT...South gales to 40 kt becoming southwest and diminishing
to 15 to 25 kt. Waves 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft subsiding
to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt veering to northeast late in the
morning...then increasing to 15 to 25 kt early in the afternoon
and to 30 kt late. Chance of snow and rain showers in the morning...
then a mix of snow, rain and sleet in the afternoon. Waves 5 to
8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt overnight. Rain, snow and sleet likely. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt diminishing to 10 to
15 kt. Rain and freezing rain likely. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding
to 2 to 4 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northwest.
Chance of light freezing rain and light sleet. Waves 2 to 4 ft
building to 3 to 5 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
