FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES OVER CENTRAL QUEBEC WILL
CONTINUE TO LIFT TO THE NORTHEAST TODAY...AS A BROAD AREA OF
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.1 INCHES SPREADS FROM THE PLAINS INTO THE
MIDWEST AND OHIO VALLEY. THIS HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO
SPREAD ACROSS THE SOUTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION TO THE MID ATLANTIC
REGION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. A SERIES OF RELATIVELY WEAK LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CANADIAN PRAIRIES TO NEAR
HUDSON BAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WHILE RIDGING REMAINS ACROSS THE
LAKES AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.3 INCHES MOVES OFF OF THE NEW ENGLAND
COAST SATURDAY. THESE LOWS WILL DRAG COLD FRONTS ACROSS THE
NORTHERN PLAINS...BUT THESE FRONTS WILL WASH OUT BEFORE REACHING
LAKE MICHIGAN.
