FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS, WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVE, ALONG WITH THE
AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10% OF THE WAVES WHICH WILL
OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 30.0 INCHES
AND AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT ARE PUSHING SOUTH DOWN LAKE MICHIGAN
AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.3 INCHES SPREADS ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL PLAINS AND INTO THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THE COLD
FRONT SHOULD PUSH SOUTH OF THE LAKE BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR
EARLY EVENING AS THE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT
LAKES REGION. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES WILL MOVE OUT OF THE
NORTHERN ROCKIES AND INTO THE DAKOTAS TONIGHT AND TRACK EAST TO
LAKE SUPERIOR BY TUESDAY EVENING. THE LOW WILL CONTINUE EAST INTO
SOUTHERN ONTARIO TUESDAY NIGHT...DRAGGING ANOTHER COLD FRONT
ACROSS THE LAKE. THE COLD FRONT SHOULD PUSH SOUTH OF THE LAKE BY
WEDNESDAY MORNING WHILE HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.4 INCHES BUILDS ACROSS
CENTRAL CANADA AND NEW LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES DEVELOPS OVER
THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
