OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan
National Weather Service Chicago/Romeoville IL
859 PM CDT Thu Sep 14 2017

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure around 30.0 inches will remain in place
over the Atlantic seaboard through the weekend. Developing low
pressure of 29.4 inches over the central Plains will be blocked
by the high and therefore persist over that region into the
weekend. The low will then lift across Lake Superior Saturday
night, with a trailing cold front moving across Lake Michigan
Sunday.
