FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.0 INCHES OVER THE OHIO VALLEY IS
SEPARATED FROM ANOTHER AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE UPPER
MISSOURI VALLEY BY A WEAK COLD FRONT MOVING SOUTH OVER THE
SOUTHERN TIP OF LAKE MICHIGAN. THE FRONT WILL DISSIPATE OVERNIGHT
AS THE TWO HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEMS MERGE INTO A SINGLE BROAD AREA OF
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.1 INCHES THIS AFTERNOON. THE HIGH WILL SPREAD
EAST ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES TO NEW ENGLAND BY WEDNESDAY. LOW
PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE CENTRAL
PLAINS BY MID WEEK...WITH A WARM FRONT EXTENDING EAST ACROSS THE
UPPER MIDWEST.
