For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.7 inch low near Watertown will slowly drift off
to the east today...while a 30.2 inch high over the Upper Great
Lakes builds across the Lower Great Lakes. The high will then
drift to the New England coastline Wednesday...with a cold front
expected to cross the Lower Lakes region on Thursday. Following
the passage of the cold front...another 30.1 inch high will build
across the Great Lakes Friday and Saturday.

.TODAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming east 5 to 15 knots.
Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 knots or less becoming south. Waves
1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 10 knots or less becoming east. Waves
1 foot or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south.
Waves 1 foot or less.
.THURSDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast and
increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Showers and thunderstorms likely.
Waves 1 foot or less building to 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 5 to
10 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
