...The Flood Advisory continues for the North Branch Chicago River...

  North Branch Chicago River at Chicago Albany Ave affecting Cook
  County

.Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. The current forecast
is based off only light precipitation amounts along the river basin. However,
if heavy rain occurs on the basin, renewed rises will occur, with a worst case
scenario of rising to minor flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* At  100 PM Sunday the stage was 5.6 feet.
* Action stage is 5.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall if rain amounts remain light.
