...The Flood Advisory continues for the North Branch Chicago River...

  North Branch Chicago River at Chicago Albany Ave affecting Cook
  County

.A prolonged crest continues along the north branch of the Chicago
River. Scattered thunderstorms are possible overnight, but these are
not expected to add much new rainfall to the basin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* until late tonight.
* At 600 AM Saturday the stage was 5.6 feet.
* Action stage is 5.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to hold steady today before
  slowing falling.
