  Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Lake County
  Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County
  Des Plaines River at Riverside affecting Cook County
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...
  Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake County
  Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry
  Counties
  Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties

.The Des Plaines river will continue to remain very high through
the weekend. Scattered thunderstorms are possible overnight, but
they are not expected to add much rainfall to the basin.

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

  Sunday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet...Water approaches the top of the river bank
  on the east side of the Des Plaines River.

  Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 18.6 feet...Melrose Park - 1st Avenue pump station
  floods.

* Impact...At 7.5 feet...Park areas are inundated near Salt Creek.

  gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.9 feet by
  Tuesday morning then begin falling.
