  Rock River at Dixon affecting Lee County

.Additional rainfall in the past 24 hours of three to four inches has
causes significant rises on the Rock River at Dixon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Flood Warning continues for
 The Rock River at Dixon.
* until Tuesday morning.
* At  915 AM Saturday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.1 feet by
  early Sunday. The river will fall below flood stage early Tuesday
  morning.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Flooding affects basement of Dixon High
  School.
