following rivers in Illinois...

  Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties

.Rainfall overnight of two to four inches has caused significant
rises along portions of the Fox River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Flood Warning continues for
 The Fox River at Montgomery.
* until further notice.
* At  130 PM Thursday the stage was 13.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 14.1 feet by
  Friday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Flooding affects homes on River Street near
  Ashland Avenue.
