THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY PRODUCE...
    HEAVY DOWNPOURS.
    CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING WITH A BETTER
CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. THE BEST CHANCE FOR
STORMS WILL BE EAST OF INTERSTATE 55 THIS AFTERNOON.

  DISCUSSION:

WARM MOIST AIR CONTINUES TO STREAM INTO THE AREA AND IS HELPING
TO GENERATE SHOWERS AND SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. THIS
ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS THE AREA DURING
THE EARLY MORNING. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
NORTHEAST INTO NORTHERN INDIANA INTO THE EVENING AND IS
EXPECTED BRING ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS
AFTERNOON. THE BEST CHANCE FOR STORMS IS EAST OF INTERSTATE 55.
THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...FREQUENT CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLY A FEW STRONG WIND GUSTS. THERE
WILL BE A LOW CHANCE FOR ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING
  AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY. CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE
FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY...MAINLY EAST OF
THE I-57 CORRIDOR.
