            1.5W OF EARLVILLE TO 0.5SW OF EARLVILLE. DAMAGE INCLUDED
            NUMEROUS TREES DOWNED AS WELL AS TO ROOFS WITH ONE GARAGE
            BLOWN OUT.

            WINDS OF 100 MPH THAT HAD A PATH LENGTH OF 1.5 MILES FROM
            4.8W OF LISBON TO 4.5WSW OF LISBON. DAMAGE WAS DONE TO
            TWO FARMSTEADS INCLUDING AN OUBUILDING DESTROYED AND
            LARGE TREES SNAPPED.

            2 MILES. TIME ESTIMATED PER RADAR.

            WINDS OF 95 MPH THAT HAD A PATH LENGTH OF 3 MILES FROM
            1.1NE OF PLAINFIELD TO 2.4SW OF ROMEOVILLE. DAMAGE
            INCLUDED OVER 50 TREES DOWNED...MOST UPROOTED...AS WELL
            AS MINOR DAMAGE TO NUMEROUS RESIDENCES IN THE WOODLANDS
            OF THE RESERVE AND LAKEWOOD FALLS SUBDIVISIONS.

            THIS WAS THE FIRST EF-1 TORNADO NORTHWEST OF GRANT PARK.
            THIS TRACKED APPROXIMATELY FOUR MILES TO THE
            EAST-NORTHEAST WITH MAXIMUM WIND SPEEDS OF 100-110 MPH.
            THIS HAD A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 200 YARDS. THIS HEAVILY
            DAMAGED/DESTROYED BARNS AND CAUSED WIDESPREAD SNAPPING OF
            HARDWOOD AND SOFTWOOD TREES. THIS WAS REVISED FOR START
            POINT AND PATH LENGTH.

            THIS WAS THE SECOND EF-1 TORNADO NORTHWEST OF GRANT PARK.
            THIS HAD A PATH LENGTH OF APPROXIMATELY 4.5 MILES WITH
            MAXIMUM WINDS OF 100 MPH AND MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 300
            YARDS. THIS TORNADO PRODUCED WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT TREE
            DAMAGE...INCLUDING NUMEROUS HARDWOODS AND SOFTWOODS
            SNAPPED AT THE TRUNK. AN OUTBUILDING WAS ALSO PARTIALLY
            DAMAGED. THIS WAS REVISED FOR START POINT AND PATH
            LENGTH.

            THIS WAS ONE OF TWO EF-1 TORNADOES NORTHEAST OF GRANT
            PARK. THIS HAD MAXIMUM WINDS OF 100-110 MPH AND A MAXIMUM
            PATH WIDTH UP TO 150 YARDS. PATH ENDED ABOUT 5 MILES WEST
            SOUTHWEST OF LOWELL IN LAKE COUNTY INDIANA. MOST
            SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE INCLUDED STAINED GLASS WINDOWS BLOWN
            OUT OF A CHURCH BY LARGE LIMBS...TREE BRANCH IMPALED INTO
            CHURCH AND A HOME...SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO A HOME UNDER
            CONSTRUCTION BUT SEALED...HARDWOODS AND SOFTWOODS SNAPPED
            AT THE TRUNK...AND EXTENSIVE CROP DAMAGE.

            THIS WAS THE SECOND OF TWO EF-1 TORNADOES NORTHEAST OF
            GRANT PARK AND WAS SHOWN TO BE A SEPARATE DISTINCT PATH
            FROM THE OTHER. THIS TORNADO HAD A PATH OF 1.7 MILES AND
            ENDED VERY NEAR THE ILLINOIS AND INDIANA STATE LINE.
            DAMAGE INCLUDED A DESTROYED BARN AND HARDWOOD...SOFTWOOD
            TREES SNAPPED AND UPROOTED...AND EXTENSIVE CROP DAMAGE.

1043 PM     TORNADO          3 S LOWELL              41.26N 87.41W
06/30/2014                   LAKE               IN   NWS STORM SURVEY

            EF-1 TORNADO SOUTH OF LOWELL HAD AN APPROXIMATE LENGTH OF
            6 MILES AND A WIDTH OF UP TO 500 YARDS. MOST SIGNIFICANT
            DAMAGE INCLUDED NUMEROUS SNAPPED WOODEN POWER
            POLES...SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED GRAIN BINS...AND A
            DESTROYED WOODEN BARN. ALSO MULTIPLE SNAPPED AND UPROOTED
            TREES. MAXIMUM ESTIMATED WINDS OF 110 MPH. THIS WAS
            REVISED FOR START LOCATION AND TIME AS WELL AS PATH
            LENGTH BASED ON ADDITIONAL DAMAGE REPORTED AND SEEN ON
            AERIAL SURVEY AS WELL AS A RADAR INDICATED TORNADO DEBRIS
            SIGNATURE.

06/30/2014                   JASPER             IN   NWS STORM SURVEY

            AN NWS STORM SURVEY TEAM DETERMINED AN EF-1 TORNADO WITH
            MAXIMUM WINDS OF 100-105 MPH. THIS TORNADO HAD A PATH
            LENGTH OF AROUND SIX MILES AND ENDED AROUND 2 MILES
            EAST-NORTHEAST OF DE MOTTE. CONSISTENT 100-200 YARD SWATH
            OF SIGNIFICANT TREE DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED THROUGH THE PATH
            AS WELL AS TWO DESTROYED BARNS AND SOME STRUCTURAL/ROOF
            DAMAGE TO A DOUBLE WIDE MANUFACTURED HOME. THIS WAS
            REVISED TO INCLUDE A SHORTER PATH LENGTH.

            AN NWS STORM SURVEY TEAM DETERMINED A BRIEF EF-1 TORNADO
            OCCURRED. THIS TORNADO TRACKED EAST-NORTHEAST FOR
            APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE. THIS HAD MAXIMUM WINDS OF 90 TO
            100 MPH AND A MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH OF 100 YARDS. DAMAGE
            INCLUDED COLLAPSED WALLS OF AN OUTBUILDING...MINOR DAMAGE
            TO ANOTHER OUTBUILDING...AND HARDWOOD TREES SNAPPED.
