AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS 81.0
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.9 DEGREES BELOW THE 1981 TO 2010 AVERAGE. THE
AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 62.4 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.7 DEGREES ABOVE
THE 1981 TO 2010 AVERAGE.  OVERALL...THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE SEASON WAS 71.7 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.1 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

A TOTAL OF 17.25 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED DURING THIS
PAST SUMMER...WHICH IS 5.20 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS MAKES SUMMER
2014 THE 9TH WETTEST SUMMER ON RECORD SINCE 1871.

AT ROCKFORD...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 80.8 DEGREES WHICH IS
1.9 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 60.7
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.  OVERALL...THE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS 70.8 DEGREES WHICH IS 1.0 DEGREE
BELOW NORMAL.

A TOTAL OF 16.28 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED DURING THIS
PAST SUMMER...WHICH WAS 3.09 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS MADE SUMMER
