SURVEY SUMMARY:

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ROYCE ROAD JUST WEST
OF THE ENTRANCE TO WHALON LAKE PARK AND SNAPPED OR DAMAGED
SEVERAL HARDWOOD TREES ON ITS PATH NORTHEAST INTO THE GREENE
VALLEY FOREST PRESERVE. ONE OF THE SNAPPED TREES NEAR ROYCE ROAD
FELL ONTO A POWER LINE. ADDITIONAL TREE DAMAGE INCLUDED AN
UPROOTED SOFTWOOD TREE. THE TORNADO LIFTED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
75TH STREET NEAR THE INTERSECTION WITH ROUTE 53. DAMAGE WAS
CONSISTENT WITH A MID RANGE EF-0 TORNADO.

SURVEY_SUMMARY:

THIS BRIEF WEAK TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN A BACKYARD NEAR THE
INTERSECTION OF SARATOGA STREET AND FRANKLIN STREET...SNAPPING A
HARDWOOD TREE THAT SUBSEQUENTLY SNAPPED A POWER POLE AND CAUSED
MINOR GARAGE DAMAGE. THE TORNADO THEN TRACKED NORTH AND CAUSED
SOME ADDIITONAL TREE DAMAGE ALONG SARATOGA AVENUE AND LINSCOTT
AVENUE BEFORE LIFTING. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE WAS A SNAPPED
HARDWOOD TREE ON SARATOGA AVENUE THAT CRUSHED A CAR PARKED UNDER
THE TREE.

FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.
