THAT OF 1903 WITH RESPECT TO CONSECUTIVE HOURS BELOW FREEZING.
AFTER DIPPING BELOW FREEZING JUST PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT ON NOVEMBER
11TH...THE TEMPERATURE DID NOT WARM BACK TO FREEZING UNTIL JUST
PRIOR TO NOON NOVEMBER 19TH. THIS WAS 180 CONSECUTIVE HOURS AND
SETS A NEW RECORD FOR CONSECUTIVE HOURS SPENT BELOW FREEZING IN
THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER IN CHICAGO. IN NOVEMBER 1903...CHICAGO SPENT
172 CONSECUTIVE HOURS SUBFREEZING.

THE EARLIEST HIGH TEMPERATURE IN THE TEENS IN ROCKFORD SINCE
NOVEMBER 17TH 1959.

ON NOVEMBER 18TH...ROCKFORD SET A NEW RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF 8
DEGREES...BEATING THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 11 IN 1989. IN ADDITION...A
NEW RECORD COLD HIGH OF 19 DEGREES WAS OBSERVED...SHATTERING THE OLD
RECORD OF 28 IN 1951.
