MANY ICE SPOTTERS REPORTED WATER POOLED ON TOP OF THE ICE COVER.

OUTLOOK:
WIDE SWINGS IN DAYTIME TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED THIS WEEK WITH SOME
DAYTIME HIGHS IN THE 30S AND 40S ALONG WITH INTERVALS OF BELOW
NORMAL TEMPERATURES. RISES ON SOME RIVERS DUE TO RECENT RAIN AND
SNOWMELT WILL CONTINUE. ADDITIONAL MELTING AND BREAKING OF THE
EXISTING ICE COVER IS LIKELY...ESPECIALLY EARLY IN THE WEEK. ANY
ADDITIONAL ICE FORMATION LATER IN THE WEEK WOULD LIKELY BE MINOR.
