A SLOW MOVING WEATHER SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF
LIGHT SNOW ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
FLURRIES WILL PREVAIL TODAY WITH OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WHERE
QUICK VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS AND LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF UNDER AN
INCH COULD OCCUR. BY TONIGHT...LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY
TO BE MORE WIDESPREAD AND LINGER THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE
SLOWLY TAPERING. IN ADDITION...NORTHWEST WINDS INCREASE TONIGHT
WITH GUSTS OF 20 TO 25 MPH EXPECTED INTO TUESDAY RESULTING IN
BLOWING SNOW THAT COULD FURTHER REDUCE VISIBILITY.

THE SNOW TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY COULD ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS AND
IMPACT PART OF THIS EVENINGS COMMUTE AND LIKELY WILL TUESDAY
MORNINGS. ENSURE ENOUGH TIME IS LEFT TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
