...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL WILL...SOUTHEASTERN
COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 747 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near East Chicago to Schererville to near
Beecher. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Gary, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, East Chicago,
Schererville, Hobart, Lansing, Crown Point, Highland, Munster, Cedar
Lake, Steger, Griffith, Dyer, St. John, Lake Station, Sauk Village,
Lynwood, Crete, Lakes of the Four Seasons, Whiting, Winfield, and
Beecher.
