...Gusty Winds Through This Evening...

Gusty west northwest winds will continue to increase across
portions of east central Illinois and northwest Indiana into this
evening. The strongest speeds of 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to
around 40 MPH will likely last through mid to late evening, before
diminishing during the overnight hours. With the strongest winds
this evening, brief and isolated gusts up to 45 MPH will also be
possible. Those traveling this evening should use caution, as
travel may be hazardous, especially for high profile vehicles.
