UNTIL 515 AM CDT...

At 450 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Rogers Park to Carol
Stream to near Newark to near Tonica. Movement was southeast at 35
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Evanston, Bolingbrook,
Skokie, Des Plaines, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove,
Elmhurst, Lombard, Carol Stream, Romeoville, Plainfield, Park Ridge
and Addison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
