For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough of 29.8 inches continues to push south across
the lake this morning, followed by a secondary trough of 29.8
inches that will swing south this evening, strengthening to 29.7
inches as it tracks across Lake Michigan. By Saturday, a 30.1
inch ridge will briefly build across the Upper Great Lakes,
followed by yet another fast moving trough of 29.8 inches dropping
south across the lake on Sunday. A narrow ridge of 30.0 inches
will track across the area Sunday night, but is closely followed
by another surface trough averaging 29.8 inches tracking across
the Western Great Lakes on Monday. A high of 30.2 inches will then
build into the Great Lakes Tuesday in advance of several
additional low pressure systems due to pass through late next
week.
