highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch high pressure ridge extending southeast
into the Upper Mississippi Valley early this morning will build
further to 30.1 inches as it shifts across the Upper Great Lakes
later today and tonight. On Tuesday, the ridge at 30.3 inches
will extend from Hudson Bay to the Lower Great Lakes while deep
low pressure of 29.2 inches lifts northeast across the central
Plains. This low will then weaken to 29.5 inches as it tracks to
Wisconsin on Wednesday. The low will continue to weaken as it
moves across Lower Michigan Wednesday night, and on Thursday, it
will become a 29.9 inch trough extending from southern Ontario to
a 29.5 inch low pressure over far northern Ontario. Also on
Thursday, a 30.2 inch high pressure ridge will build southeast
into the Plains. On Friday, the ridge will remain nearly
stationary as it builds to 30.3 inches while the low deepens to
29.4 inches as it moves over southern Hudson Bay.
