Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough of 29.5 inches is exiting the region to the
east this morning. This evening, a 30.2 inch ridge will begin to
move over Lake Superior that will remain through Friday,
associated with a 30.5 inch high over the central Plains. The
aforementioned high will shift to the northeastern U.S. by
Saturday morning, and a 29.7 inch trough will track across the
Upper Great Lakes in the afternoon and evening. Brief ridging of
30.1 inches will then pass through the area on Sunday followed by
a trough of 29.7 inches moving in from the southwest late on
Monday that will pass to the south of Lake Superior.
